Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone, inside the app. There is no account and no server, so nobody else has a copy, including us.
How do I back up, or move to a new phone?
Tap [OPT], then EXPORT BACKUP. It makes one file with all your food and gym data. Save it to Files, AirDrop it or email it to yourself.
On the new phone, install TRACKED IT, tap [OPT], then IMPORT, and pick that file. Importing replaces everything on that phone with the backup (it asks first).
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything it stores lives inside it on your phone, so it goes with it. There is nothing on a server to delete. To remove a single food, tap it and choose DEL.
Does it need the internet?
Only for searching Open Food Facts by name and looking up a scanned barcode. Everything else works offline: logging, your own foods and meals, the built-in USDA food table, reading a nutrition label, workouts and the rest timer.
How do I contact you?
Email connect@trackedit.app. A real person reads it.

Short version: TRACKED IT has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What you log stays on your iPhone. We never receive it.
Who we are
TRACKED IT is made by the developer of TRACKED IT (“we”, “us”). Contact: connect@trackedit.app.
What the app stores, and where
The app keeps only what you type or choose in it:
- your daily calorie and macro targets
- the foods and meals you log, and the foods and meals you save
- your training blocks and workouts: exercises, sets, weights, reps, rest times and notes
- your settings, such as the colour scheme
All of it is stored on your iPhone, inside the app, with a second copy in the app’s private folder so nothing is lost if iOS clears its storage. None of it is sent to us. We don’t run a server for the app. The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, age, sex, height or location.
The only time the app goes online
When you search for a food by name, or scan a barcode, the app sends just the search words or the barcode number from your phone to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org), a free, open food database run by a non-profit. Nothing else goes with it: not your log, your targets or anything about you. As with any internet request, Open Food Facts can see your device’s IP address, and its own privacy policy covers that.
The USDA food search uses a table built into the app. It works offline and sends nothing. Everything else in the app works without the internet.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only when you tap to scan a barcode or photograph a nutrition label. Both are read on your phone by Apple’s built-in recognition. The photo is not saved or uploaded; the numbers it finds fill in the form, and nothing is saved until you save it. If you pick a label photo from your library instead, the app receives only that one photo, through Apple’s photo picker. You can turn camera access off any time in iPhone Settings.
Rest timer alerts
The first time you start a rest timer, iPhone asks whether TRACKED IT may set alarms or send notifications. They are used only to tell you a rest you started is over. The app sends no reminders, no marketing and no push messages.
What we don’t do
- No accounts or sign up
- No ads and no advertising identifiers
- No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs
- No selling or sharing of data. We don’t have any to sell or share.
Apple
Downloading the app, and your phone’s own iCloud or computer backups if you have them on, are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Those backups include this app’s data, as they do for most apps. If you have turned on “Share with App Developers” in iPhone Settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports.
Your backup file
EXPORT BACKUP makes a file on your phone. Where it goes next (Files, AirDrop, email) is your choice, and we never see it.
Plans from a coach
A coach can write workouts and meals on our coach page and send you the plan as a file. That page works entirely in the coach’s browser: what they type is not sent to us or stored by us. When you open the file, TRACKED IT shows what it will add, and adds it only on your phone, next to your own data. Nothing goes back to the coach.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over, but you are always welcome to ask us questions.
Children
TRACKED IT is not aimed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
